It's easy to feel God's presence when He answers our prayer with a "Yes!" but how do we respond when He does not answer the way we want Him to? This illustrated poem goes through the three ways God answers prayer.
This was a poem I wrote to encourage myself in the Lord. I felt as if God wasn't answering my prayers. I felt like I was doing everything I should as a Christian — I was reading my Bible, praying, going to church — still I felt like He didn't want to answer my prayers. God simply had something else in mind.
Maybe you're going through that season as well, but God always answers our prayer —sometimes with yes, sometimes with wait, and sometimes with no. I felt frustrated because I felt like my season of waiting was taking longer than it should. Shouldn't God have answered my prayer by now? But God works in His time, not mine.
I know this is a book aimed towards children, but I also wrote it with parents and families in mind. As parents, we are to steward the children God has entrusted into our care. Part of that responsibility, is teaching them how to pray. The verses included at the end of he book are great scriptures to meditate on regarding God's answers to prayer.
I pray that this can be a blessing to you. Check out Amazon for a copy.
